DBT Skills Groups

In these groups, your will learn Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills while using creative expression, such as art.  Our groups meet weekly in the evenings and will help you build skill upon skill to learn to: understand and regulate your emotions; change behaviors to improve your life and relationships; track your moods and emotions; learn what triggers emotions; and gain more beneficial ways to respond to others.  We have groups for Middle School and High School Students.

An Intake is required before joining. Call to schedule.

Our weekly groups combine Expressive Art and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, focusing on:

Mindfulness: being present in the moment

Interpersonal Skills: making & keeping relationships

Emotional Regulation: understanding and managing emotions

Distress Tolerance: coping with stressful situations

Middle Path: helping adolescents and parents work together

Open-Mindedness: considering alternative solutions
